其中，「VMC-6000A線性滑軌動柱型立式切削中心機」係針對建築、鋁擠型產業而設計的客製化機種，適用於長條型、平板、鋁擠型與鋁材質的銑、鑽等「輕型加工」。

另「VMC-4000H線性滑軌動柱型立式切削中心機」，則是一部適合工件長條型、平板、丸條型、鋁、鐵材質的「中輕型加工」，其X軸快速位移30m/mm，動作靈敏，位移速度快、精度高，生產效率佳。瀚鋼精機指出，一部VMC-4000H可抵用6台VMC-600，可降低人力成本與刀具備存量，在保障達到最佳加工精密度的同時，大幅提升工作效率，堪稱一部適合量產的長工件加工利器。

該公司說，長工件的加工多採用專用機或龍門加工中心機，惟專用機僅適用單一條件下的加工，作業範圍有限，龍門加工中心機則價格偏高，企業負擔大。該公司研發的立式切削中心機動柱型線軌系列機種，除可進行長工件加工，也連帶解決購買成本的難題。
